Welcome at my own Cowboy Corner. A little bit bout my journey. I was born in the USA, grew up in California. At the age off 15 I started learning about horses through a boy scout summer camp. I started my work as a farrier in 2004. I apprenticed for 2 years under a German master farrier. I then worked at a large vet hospital in California as an apprentice in the farrier shop. I went to many clinics the learn as much as I can regarding shoeing. I had a successful shoeing business in California. In the summer of 2012, I saw the movie Buck. WOW! This is what I was looking for. I was always looking for a better way to work with the horse. I started searching on how to achieve this way of working horses. That fall I found McGinnis Meadows cattle and guest ranch. They were looking for a farrier/wrangler, and well I could shoe. Well I got the job and got to learn the Buck Brannaman way of working with horses. I was now in charge of keeping 100+ horses sound. There learning horsemanship helped me become a better farrier. There I also met a lot of like-minded people who were on the same journey that I was on. Marianne came along on this journey and I fell in love and the rest is history as they say. We decided to continue our journey together starting in de Netherlands so here my journey continues.
